Luke Aylett Bio

Luke is a Partner in the Dubai corporate practice and has experience advising corporates, sovereign wealth funds, founder shareholders, financial institutions and private equity houses on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate re-organisations, joint ventures and disposals, including specific experience in the retail and consumer space. Luke provides pragmatic, commercial and client orientated legal advice and works to find solutions. He has been recognised in the Legal 500 as an individual who "ticks all the boxes. He clearly gets the commercials, has the legal experience to implement them and handles the client very professionally. His manner and expertise breed enormous confidence". Luke also provides a wide range of corporate structuring advice and has excellent experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (having developed suites of commercial contracts for large corporates) and providing local law advisory services. Luke joined Addleshaw Goddard in 2012, and has practiced in England, Hong Kong and Dubai giving him an excellent grasp of international cross border M&A transactions and the ability to guide clients through unfamiliar jurisdictions.
