Bio

Jaya is a partner in Addleshaw Goddard's London Corporate Division where she leads the Corporate Governance team. She has over 25 years' experience providing support to clients on governance and compliance issues, as well as on a wide range of complex cross-border and UK corporate transactions. Her transactional experience extends to public takeovers, private M&A and recapitalisations across a variety of sectors. For some years, India has been a key market focus for Jaya and she Co-Chairs AG's India Business Group. Her roster of clients includes Indian headquartered conglomerates and banks, as well as international clients connected to or considering opportunities in that market. She has built up strong relationships with leading Indian law firms and investment bank teams covering India. Jaya is a regular speaker at client and other training events and formerly sat on the Institute of Directors' Board of Examiners.
