Daniel Cousens Bio

Dan is an English law qualified M&A partner who has been based in Warsaw office since 2006. He advises international corporates, financial sponsors and sovereign wealth funds on M&A in Türkiye, Ukraine, the CEE and Poland. Dan co-heads the firm’s Warsaw Corporate/M&A practice and co-heads the firm’s Türkiye Group, Ukraine Group and CEE Group. Before moving to Warsaw, Dan spent five years in Moscow office advising on a wide range of cross-border corporate transactions. Early on in his career, Dan worked for the European Commission and for a UK non-governmental organisation on conflict resolution projects in Georgia. Dan has led on many of the region’s major transactions and has also worked with our disputes team on a number of arbitrations in the region.
