A highly versatile transactional lawyer, Ron Kornreich represents clients in a wide range of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, license agreements and general corporate matters. In particular, Ron has vast knowledge and experience in the hospitality sector, where he regularly advises owners, operators and developers of hotels, resorts and mixed-use real estate developments throughout the United States and around the world. His experience includes representing buyers and sellers of individual hotel assets, portfolios and management companies, negotiating management and franchise agreements involving virtually all of the major hotel brands as well as independent operators, representing borrowers in complex financing arrangements, and handling residential management, marketing and license arrangements for mixed-use projects. Ron’s practice extends to all real estate asset classes and a diverse group of industries and operating businesses. Ron represents commercial real estate developers, investors and capital providers in negotiating joint ventures in the hotel, restaurant, senior housing facility, multifamily, office and retail sectors. He counsels clients on M&A and middle-market transactions in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology and sports. He also assists closely-held companies with new business ventures, restructurings, and succession planning, and acts as outside general counsel to a number of his clients, providing strategic legal and business advice. A native New Yorker, Ron has lived in both New York and Florida and is admitted to practice in both states.
