Alejandro García-Villalpando Bio

Alejandro García-Villalpando advises public and private companies, private equity firms, and hedge funds on domestic and international tax and corporate matters, with a focus on the tax aspects of cross-border transactions, including the structuring of inbound and outbound U.S. investments. He also counsels clients on the tax implications of mergers and acquisitions, LBOs, corporate reorganizations, privatizations, partnerships, joint ventures, project finance, structured finance, capital market offerings, and various types of pooled investments. Additionally, Alejandro provides tax advice to foreign and Latin American clients on structuring inbound and outbound investments into Latin America. Alejandro also has extensive experience in structuring offshore wealth management vehicles and advising family offices on tax and estate planning matters.
