Syed is responsible for originating new investment opportunities, sourcing new business opportunities, structuring transactions. Prior to joining Young America Capital, Syed served as strategic leader with fortune 50 companies in the past while working with Accenture. Prior to Accenture, he worked as M&A Advisory @ PWC where he worked for M&A carve-out of one of the companies for Sisco and Interim CFO for a Blackstone portfolio company (Rhodia Acetow) Syed served lower middle market industries in turnaround and restructuring space with a boutique firm covering Manufacturing, Hospitality, Life Sciences, CPG, and Real Estate. He has worked across many geographies across the world: India, Middle East, Europe, and the USA. Syed has received an MS, in Management and Administration from California State University and has also received a Business and Management certificate from Harvard University.
