A former student of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po economic and financial section finance option), Alain Pichot has acquired more than 17 years of experience within the KPMG group. In 1986, Alain Pichot joined Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co, which became KPMG Audit, as an auditor. In 1991, he was one of the co-founders of KPMG Corporate Finance, which became a major player in Mergers and Acquisitions of medium-sized companies. During the thirteen years spent in this structure, he actively participated in its development, was appointed Partner in October 2000 and carried out around twenty transactions detailed below. In March 2004, he decided to capitalize on this experience by founding XK Corporate Finance, which concluded its first transaction in December 2004 as a management consultant in the context of an MBO on a French group worth more than €200 million. During his career, Alain Pichot has acquired solid skills as a financial advisor to French and international companies or investment funds in the context of French and international disposals or acquisitions. Alain Pichot has also assisted the management and French and international investment funds during MBO operations. During his career at KPMG, Alain Pichot followed the internal training course in France and abroad, including audit, mergers and acquisitions, management, presentation and negotiation seminars. Alain Pichot is fluent in English.
