Jonathan Cody Bio

Jonathan Cody is a Managing Partner and Head of Investment Banking at Whitehall. Mr. Cody has over 25 years of experience structuring energy transactions within the U.S., Asia and Latin America and has completed over $30 billion of transactions on behalf of various top tier financial sponsors, independent power producers, developers, and corporates. Since co-founding Whitehall in 2010, Mr. Cody has originated and structured over $5 billion in transactions. Most recently, Mr. Cody led the $1 billion sale of the West Deptford Energy Center for LS Power, the $1.25 billion debt and equity financings of the Middletown Energy Center and King's Mountain Energy Center for NTE Energy, and the $900 million debt and equity financing of the Carroll County Energy Center for Advanced Power, NA. Prior to starting Whitehall, Mr. Cody was a Managing Director at WestLB AG in the Global Energy Group and served as a Senior Vice President in the Financial Advisory Group at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Mr. Cody also served as a Director in the Structured Products Group at Credit Suisse First Boston.
