As a Team Member Shan focuses on advising clients through merger & acquisition transactions, debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and general strategic advisory. Prior to joining Westcove, Shan began his investment banking career with Cantor Fitzgerald in New York City where he worked as an investment banking analyst in the firm’s healthcare department. At Cantor Fitzgerald, Shan was part of numerous mandates across both the life sciences and healthcare services subindustries. He advised on equity and debt raises as well as several merger and acquisition transactions. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, Shan worked for the Michel-Shaked Group, a valuation and corporate finance advisory firm based in Boston. At the Michel-Shaked Group, Shan served as a Senior Analyst and helped the firm with engagements revolving around bankruptcy valuation, asset valuation, financial analysis and expert testimony. Shan graduated from Boston University with Magna Cum Laude Honors. He is also a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation.
