Bio

Rakesh brings over 25 years of investment banking expertise with a broad array of industry experience in the communications, technology, healthcare, transportation and power sectors. He has successfully raised debt and equity in private and public markets and has closed both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. Rakesh has led debt/mezzanine financings, building strong relationships with banks and debt/mezzanine capital funds and has executed various complex structured finance transactions, including project finance, lease finance and securitizations. Prior to business school, Rakesh worked as a software consultant primarily for the financial industry, and possesses strong engineering expertise and a vast network of senior IT executives in the field. Rakesh is a graduate of IIT Roorkee, India with a BE in Electrical Engineering and has received his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
