Jake leads execution on a wide range of transactions, restructuring, and advisory services including M&A, ESOPs, and strategic alternatives consulting across numerous industries including business services, construction & engineering, grocery retail and financial services. Jake specializes in the valuation of business enterprises and the structuring of complex ESOP transactions. Prior to joining Verit in 2015, Jake worked as a financial analyst for IBM in Rochester, Minnesota. Jake was responsible for wide range of duties in this role, particularly in the management of a portfolio of key contracts with Fortune 500 companies within IBM’s services division. These responsibilities included negotiating long-term contract extensions, developing quarterly and annual budgets, serving as a liaison between the operations and finance teams, collaborating with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, and analyzing financial results with a focus on improving the accuracy of revenue and cost projections provided to management. Jake’s finance and project management background has been instrumental in the development and success of his investment banking activities.
