Erik Bonstrom has about 20 years of experience providing auditing and accounting services. He is the lead attest partner for the Iowa audit practice and serves a variety of clients in real estate, technology and manufacturing industries, as well as SEC-reporting companies, Taft-Hartley benefit plans and nonprofit entities. Erik also leads the region's technical research efforts on complex accounting and auditing issues and assists clients with implementation of new accounting pronouncements. He assits clients with SOX 404 implementation, accounting for complex derivatives and equity instruments, due diligence on acquisitions and registration statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Erik is a licensed CPA in the state of Iowa. He has been awarded the Arnold Fletcher Award from Thomas Edison State College and the Intermediate Employee Benefit Plans badge, and he was selected as a Des Moines Business Record "Forty Under 40" honoree.
