As the firm’s National Chairman Emeritus, Tony Frabotta previously served in the capacity of CEO and was in charge of the overall management of the firm. He is a member of the firm’s National Executive Committee and National Board of Directors. In 2000, his leadership skills were relied upon in the merger of Follmer Rudzewicz & Company and six other national accounting firms that established what is now known as UHY Advisors, Inc. Tony specializes in working with manufacturing and distribution companies, with a strong emphasis in plastics processing and metal forming. He provides companies with business and tax planning services to meet the competitive demands of their industry and serves as an advisor to the board of directors of many large corporations. Tony guides companies in strategic business planning, including mergers and acquisitions. To date, he has successfully raised over $200 million in support of client transactions. Tony believes in giving back to the community and is a strong supporter of Detroit and its surrounding communities. He leads by example. His personal contributions and community involvement holds a strong significance in his life. He established UHY Cares, a nonprofit organization that supports those in need in the event of personal emergencies or hardships. He’s a regular keynote speaker at numerous charitable, civic, and business functions. Tony has been recognized as one of Metropolitan Detroit’s most influential and talented professionals in the accounting industry by Crain’s Detroit Business “Who’s Who in Accounting,” and was awarded “Distinguished Alumnus of the Year,” Wayne State University School of Business Administration.
