Chuck Norman Bio

Chuck Norman has more than thirty years of public accounting experience, serving global and US-based clients in a variety of industries, and is a leader in the Audit and Assurance Department. Chuck has significant knowledge in SEC reporting requirements and technical accounting issues including acquisitions, divestitures, income taxes, stock compensation, goodwill, and long-lived asset impairments. He also has extensive experience assisting companies with strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting and forecasting, preparing initial public offerings, and other equity-raising or financing options. Chuck has a strong working knowledge of internal controls and reporting requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. He currently serves as the coordinating partner for several privately held and public businesses. Prior to joining UHY in 2010, Chuck spent twenty-four years at Ernst & Young, where he was an audit partner and the leader of the middle market group for Detroit and Toledo.
