John Gregg is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Truist Securities. Gregg’s prior responsibilities within CIB include Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Capital Markets. Prior to joining CIB in February 2006, Gregg spent 17 years at Bank of America, where he was instrumental in growing the loan syndications business. He held a variety of leadership positions in origination and sales and trading during his career, including managing the bank’s European loan syndications business in London, England, for a number of years. Gregg earned a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in 1984 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 1989. Gregg serves as a board member for the Grady Health Foundation and Junior Achievement of Georgia and previously served on the board of Trees Atlanta.
