Thomas A. DiVincent is a Managing Director at True North Capital Partners. In this role Tom focuses on providing a full range of advisory services to clients in the Life Sciences space including ethical and generic pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, branded consumer pharmaceuticals (OTC) and wellness/nutraceutical products. His experience also extends to emerging opportunities in cannabinoid-based prescription medicines and cannabis wellness products. Advisory services include capital placements, valuations and buy-side and sell-side M&A. Special strength in cross border transactions. Tom is an accomplished and seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in corporate development, merchant banking and consulting. Prior to joining TrueNorth Tom served as Executive Director Corporate Development and subsequently as Head of Worldwide Human Health Business Development for Merck & Co., Inc. Before joining Merck & C0. he held a series of management positions of increasing responsibility to include Vice President/Division Head at Bankers Trust; Director of Corporate Development at American Cyanamid Company; Assistant Treasurer of The Continental Group; and as Manager-Acquisition Consulting Services at Price Waterhouse (now PwC). Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from St. Peter’s University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is a Member of the Association of Corporate Growth.
