Brian Klemenhagen is a Managing Director with nearly 25 years of investment banking and Wall Street experience. He’s a leader in TripleTree’s healthcare technology practice, specializing in software/SaaS in provider and payer markets. Since joining TripleTree in 1999, he has advised and led more than 60 of the firm’s M&A transactions with corporate acquirers including CGI, IBM, LexisNexis, Quality Systems, Quintiles, ResMed, SAIC, Thomson Reuters, WellSky, and Wolters Kluwer, among others. Additionally, Brian has led successful recapitalizations with financial sponsors, including outcomes with ABRY, Clearlake Capital, Hellman & Friedman, NEA, Pamlico, The Riverside Company, TPG, Spectrum Equity, Warburg Pincus, and others. Brian is a key contributor to the firm’s thought leadership, playing a key role in the firm’s research on SaaS/Cloud Computing. Prior to joining TripleTree, Brian served as an Associate at RBC Dain Rauscher, providing equity research and buy/sell/hold recommendations for 25 healthcare and medical device companies. Before RBC Dain Rauscher, he began his investment banking career at Craig Hallum and Salomon Smith Barney in the early-1990s. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
