Bio

Mr. Victor Horcasitas has over eleven years of advisory experience with an emphasis on information technology (IT), software development and telecommunications. Mr. Horcasitas co-founded Trinity Advisers in 2003 to provide consulting and advisory services to clients in the telecoms, media and IT sectors. Prior to Trinity Advisers, Victor led multiple software development teams at Nastech and new business initiatives to regulate the NASDAQ market in support of the Quality of Markets fraud detection and investor protection programs. Mr. Horcasitas managed the full life-cycle development process, implementation and operation of three mission critical applications (Order Audit Trail System, Central Registration Depository and Nasdaq Quality of Markets Reports). Nastech was a joint venture between EDS and the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). The NASD is an industry regulatory body for the US securities industry. Additionally Mr. Horcasitas launched the Enterprise Risk Management practice for Deloitte & Touche in Barcelona and managed network operations at the US Federal Reserve Bank. Mr. Horcasitas leads Trinity Advisers’ business development efforts in the Iberian and Latin American regions. Transaction and advisory experience includes both buy-side and sell-side mandates in sectors that include the fixed line, mobile/GSM, and satellite services sectors as well as capital-raising for early stage and late venture organisations. In addition to Trinity Advisers, Mr. Horcasitas served as Treasurer of Communications Investment Partners Limited (CIP). In December 2007 CIP completed the $700 million acquisition of Stratos Global Corporation and in April 2009 CIP was sold to Inmarsat Limited. Mr. Horcasitas holds a MS in Telecommunications and Information Systems from the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University and a BBS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Horcasitas is fluent in English, Spanish, Catalan and holds conversational proficiency in French.
