Alexander Muires began his career in Cologne after training as a banker and studying business administration, first as a corporate account manager and later as assistant to the board of Stadtsparkasse Köln. This was followed by positions as Director at a consulting firm specializing in capital market transactions and as Managing Director at an M&A boutique. He then became Head of Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate Finance at Essen-based FUNKE MEDIENGRUPPE, one of Germany's largest publishing houses. There he and his team were in charge of the entire investment and M&A business of the media group as well as the corporate treasury. Alexander Muires has been an Partner at Transfer Partners since 2019. Previously, he was a partner at two M&A boutiques specializing in mid-market transactions in Munich and Düsseldorf.
