Bio

Andrew Dunst is a Managing Director at The Sage Group and joined in 2012. He is involved in leading the firm’s e-commerce practice, with extensive experience advising disruptive direct-to-consumer brands across a variety of categories including apparel & accessories, jewelry, beauty & personal care, home goods, marketplaces, and subscription models. Andrew has advised a broad range of branded consumer companies, with significant experience in strategic M&A, capital raises and late-stage financing rounds, and private equity recapitalizations. Andrew has guided best-in-class e-commerce companies through a variety of corporate finance matters, assisting stakeholders in achieving their goals and positioning their companies for their next stages of rapid growth. These include, among others, advising Bombas in its investment by Great Hill Partners, Chubbies in its sale to Solo Brands, MeUndies in its recapitalization with Provenance Digital, Honey Birdette in its sale to PLBY Group, Pura Vida in its sale to Vera Bradley, Blenders Eyewear in its sale to Safilo Group, and GLD in its recapitalization with H.I.G. Growth Partners. Additional transactions across the consumer landscape include advising CircusTrix in its sale to Palladium Equity Partners, Intermix in its sale to Gap Inc., and Daniel’s Jewelers in its sale to Palladium Equity Partners. Andrew received a B.S. in Business Administration, graduating cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley.
