Yingcun Luo Bio

Yingcun Luo is a founding member and managing director at Raine. Yingcun helps lead the firm’s China practice based in Shanghai. Since joining in 2010, Yingcun has executed >$10bn financial advisory transactions with a focus on China cross-border efforts. Representative transactions include the sale of SpinX to Netmarble, the sale of Moonton to Bytedance, Endeavor’s acquisition of Mailman, Universal Pictures film slate financing from Perfect World, the sale of PPTV to Suning, and the sale of Dick Clark Productions to Guggenheim Partners, Mandalay Entertainment and Mosaic Media Investments. Yingcun also advised on the formation of China joint ventures for Endeavor, IMAX, and Warner Bros. Yingcun has a M.S. in Economics from School of Business and Management of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a B.S. in Physics from Yuanpei School of Peking University.
