Jonathan Pflug Bio

Jon is a Managing Director at Raine. Jon focuses on principal investing and advisory assignments across technology and media in South East Asia. Prior to Raine, Jon was the Head of South East Asia M&A and Head of Singapore Coverage at Morgan Stanley. In this capacity, Jon was responsible for M&A and capital raises in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. At Morgan Stanley, Jon also worked in Hong Kong as a member of the Asia Pacific M&A team, including a period as Chief Operations Officer for Asia-Pacific M&A. Partway through his career at Morgan Stanley, Jon served in the Singapore Government. He worked in economic strategy at the Ministry of Finance and in policy development at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Jon has a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University. Jon also has a Master in East Asian Studies from Harvard University, where his research work focused on East Asian economic developments.
