Jason is a Partner and the Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Raine. Since joining the firm in May 2010, Jason has focused on both advising and investing across the global media and communications sector, including SoftBank’s acquisitions of ARM Holdings and Sprint Corporation, Twenty-First Century Fox’s investments in Moby Group, the take private of Playboy Enterprises and Raine’s investment in nextPlus. Prior to Raine, Jason spent 5 years at UBS Investment Bank, where he worked on several landmark transactions, including the formation of Comcast’s JV with NBCU, Liberty Global’s acquisition of Unitymedia, the restructuring of Charter Communications and the sale of Harcourt Education to Pearson and Houghton Mifflin Riverdeep. Before UBS, Jason spent five years at General Electric, graduating from the company’s Financial Management Program, followed by roles in Structured Finance and M&A. Jason has a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from London Business School.
