Bio

Joe Gleberman is the Chief Executive Officer of The Pritzker Organization, the family merchant bank of the Tom Pritzker family. Previously, he was a Partner/Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he worked in investment banking and merchant banking from 1982 to 2014. He began his career in mergers and acquisitions, where he co-headed the technology practice in the late 1980s. Mr. Gleberman lived in Tokyo from 1990 to 1993, serving as head of Asia-Pacific mergers and acquisitions. In 1993, he joined the principal investment area, where he led investments in technology, health care, and industrial companies, including Rambus, Citysearch, IPC Communications, Berry Plastics, Alltel, and iHealth Technologies. In 2007, he became the chief risk and restructuring officer for the merchant banking division. Mr. Gleberman serves on the boards of trustees of the American Museum of Natural History and The Nature Conservancy. Previously, he served as chair of the board of The Nature Conservancy of New York. Mr. Gleberman holds a BA and MA in economics from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
