Tom Ledford is the Chairman and a co-founder of The Lenox Group. Tom has more than three decades of experience in M&A transactions and corporate finance, with strong expertise in the distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, food, restaurant and healthcare industries. Throughout his career, Tom has been involved in all types of investment banking assignments including sell-side and buy-side advisories, private placements, recapitalizations and corporate divestitures. His clients include family-owned and other closely held businesses as well as private equity groups. Prior to founding The Lenox Group, Tom was a Managing Director of Legacy Securities Corp. where he served as co-head of the firm’s Basic Industries Group and a senior member of the Healthcare and Hospitality Groups. Prior to joining Legacy, he was founder and President of Ledford Securities Corp. which focused on capital raising and merger and acquisition work principally for Southeastern-based companies. Early in his career, Tom served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Housing Development Agency. Tom is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Political Science. He also earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee.
