Bio

As Director, Mr. Shankman advises technology and tech-enabled companies across JEGI’s sectors in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raises. He works with global corporations, private companies, entrepreneurs and private equity to structure processes and transactions that meet the unique objectives of both buyers and sellers. Mr. Shankman has over 15 years of experience in financial services across M&A advisory, research and direct investing. Prior to joining JEGI in 2017, he helped lead software and technology-focused investment banking at a middle-market firm and held prior roles at UBS and AllianceBernstein, covering a range of sectors including healthcare information technology. Mr. Shankman earned an MBA from NYU – Stern School of Business and a BA with a Pre-Med focus from University of Michigan. He is a licensed FINRA representative.
