Doug Stowe is the Chief Operating Officer of JEGI, a leading independent investment bank for the global media, information, marketing, software, and tech-enabled services sectors. Mr. Stowe manages JEGI’s deal execution and support teams, and the majority of JEGI staff in concert with the CEO. He also oversees the firm’s 20+ annual transaction processes and leads JEGI’s talent recruiting efforts. He is a member of the firm’s New Engagement and Operating Committees, helping to drive the firm’s short and long-term strategy. Mr. Stowe has two decades of experience with technology-enabled services and healthcare technology companies — as an investment banker, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur. He joined JEGI in 2016 and his promotion to COO is an expansion of his former EVP role – and evidence of his expanding management and operational abilities over time with JEGI. He also has varied experience across other financial enterprises. Mr. Stowe served as an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Group at Oppenheimer & Co./CIBC World Markets. He worked at Health Enterprise Partners since its founding, and at its predecessor fund, CB Health Ventures, the venture capital affiliate of Cain Brothers investment bank (now part of KeyBanc). Prior to that, he was a manager and member of the investment team at Internet Business Group, a UK-based technology services, media design and e-commerce company. Mr. Stowe received his MBA from Columbia University and his AB from Bowdoin College, graduating cum laude. He is a certified FINRA representative.
