Tim has over 25 years of transactional experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate finance, management buy-outs and leveraged acquisition transactions, nearly all of which has been in the construction materials industry. Prior to founding Greystone in 1996, he served as managing director of a San Francisco-based investment bank. During the last 20 years, he has managed over 60 construction materials related transactions valued in excess of $3 billion. Considered a key participant in the consolidation of the U.S. construction materials industry, he has represented the largest global construction materials producers including Lafarge-Holcim, Cemex, Plum Creek Timber, Boral, MDU Resources, and Taiheiyo Cement in both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Tim is a 1987 graduate of Luther College, where he served 12 years on its Board of Regents and is now Regent Emeriti.
