Scott Welman Bio

Scott brings over 30 years of advisory experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other business transactions to TFP. His skillset is a synergistic combination of legal experience, having previously provided counsel and other assistance to clients as a partner at a large law firm, and business acumen, having worked over 25 years in the grocery industry, holding various senior executive roles. Scott is a strategic thinker and problem solver and enjoys working with retailers, wholesalers, private equity, lenders and other transactional parties to find win-win opportunities and bringing them to successful conclusions. Scott, acting in roles of seller, buyer, facilitator, lender and financial advisor, has successfully handled over a hundred transactions in the grocery space. Scott holds both a B.S degree in Business and a Juris Doctorate degree.
