Dan serves as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at The Aust Group. Dan gained his experience in the pest control industry during various leadership positions held with Bug Doctor Inc., and Anticimex. Likewise, Dan was involved with the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) as part of their Leadership Development Group (LDG) and was a keynote speaker at PestWorld East in Dubai. Dan’s passion for mergers and acquisitions was inspired during the sell-side process of his family-owned and operated business. Today, Dan oversees all active engagements at The Aust Group and collaborates closely with the buyer and seller to facilitate successful transactions. Leveraging his leadership in pest control and extensive involvement in overseeing numerous sell-side transactions, Dan has become indispensable for guiding clients through the M&A process and maximizing the sale of their business. Furthermore, Dan is a frequent contributor to industry publications, sharing his insights on M&A, valuation, exit planning, and related topics. Dan has his B.A. from Taylor University and, in his free time, enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with his wife and their son.
