Mark Ostroff Bio

Mark Ostroff, with more than 30 years of experience in investment management, alternatives and building asset management firms, is the founder and CEO of Alloy Asset Management - an asset management and merchant banking firm that provides advisory and fund management in direct investments, co-investments, GP interests, and niche and undiscovered strategies and fund managers. Previously Mark has held senior executive roles in asset management, investment banking and wealth advisory at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Kidder Peabody, and Lazard. As the CEO of International Asset Management, a global multi-manager hedge fund advisory firm, Mark led its expansion into North America and grew its assets from $2.1B to $3.8B. He has founded or co-founded three alternative asset management firms – Graystone Partners, WealthPlace, and Zenith Partners – that were all sold to larger financial firms. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, and a CPA Certificate. He is an active member of WPO / YPO, serves on the Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania, the Board of Directors of Shaklee Global Group, and is active in several charitable organizations. Mark and his family reside in New York City.
