John Stakes Bio

John Stakes is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking group and is focused on expanding Stout’s relationships with leading middle-market private equity clients on the West Coast. John brings over 15 years of strategic advisory experience and has executed more than $65 billion of transaction volume on behalf of various corporate, private equity, and family-owned businesses. His execution work spans multiple industries, including traditional industrials, industrial technology, healthcare, and consumer products. Prior to joining Stout, John was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he led complex transactions across the transportation and logistics, automotive, and machinery sectors. John began his career as a management consultant with Accenture, where he worked among a team of data scientists and provided strategic marketing solutions to clients across the consumer, travel, retail, gaming, and automotive sectors.
