John Calcagnini Bio

John Calcagnini is a Managing Director in the healthcare practice of Stout’s Investment Banking group. John has extensive experience with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and equity and debt financing. He has executed more than forty transactions in the healthcare industry across a variety of sectors including medical devices & diagnostics, healthcare services, biotech, and specialty pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Stout, John was Head of Healthcare at CRT Capital Group and Head of Medical Device Investment Banking in the healthcare practice at CIBC World Markets/Oppenheimer. John has been recognized three times by The Wall Street Journal as an All Star Equity Research Analyst. He has also been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the Most Influential Investment Bankers for 2019.
