Michael Karp Bio

Michael is responsible for a range of activities including strategic analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence. Prior to joining Stormont, Michael was an associate at Alignvest focused on evaluating and executing private equity investments, including the firm’s investment in Sagicor Financial Corporation. Before Alignvest, Michael spent three years working in the investment banking divisions of BMO Capital Markets and Canaccord Genuity where he advised companies on M&A and capital markets transactions with a particular focus on the real estate sector. Michael holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Computing from Queen’s University.
