Paul Kneuer Bio

Mr. Kneuer has almost forty years of experience as an underwriter, broker, actuary and corporate director. He joined Stonybrook Capital in June, 2020 after retiring from Everest Re. At Everest, he led the Structured Reinsurance practice in the US and London and supported corporate development activities including the launch of their Lloyd’s operations and a Life reinsurance platform. Prior to Everest, he was a broker and actuary at Holborn Corporation in NYC, serving as head of reinsurance strategy and analytics. He led the rating agency advisory practice. Earlier, he was a senior casualty underwriter and pricing actuary at Continental Insurance, now CNA. Mr. Kneuer has an MBA (honors) from Columbia and a BS from Notre Dame’s honors program in mathematics. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and holds designation from the insurance institute of Americas.
