Sumit is a Partner at Stone Key and focuses on advising the firm’s IT Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Consulting and Knowledge Process Outsourcing clients. Prior to joining Stone Key, Sumit was an Executive Director and Head of the IT Services, Business Process Outsourcing and Consulting Services sectors within the Technology Services Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan. He joined J.P. Morgan as part of the Bear Stearns acquisition. At Bear Stearns, Sumit covered a variety of clients in both the Commercial and Government Technology sectors. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Sumit was a Vice President at ConnectCapital, an India-centric technology venture capital fund sponsored by Insight Capital Partners, Microsoft, i2 Technologies and MSD Capital. Prior to ConnectCapital, Sumit was a Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Tax and Business Advisory practice and spent 7 years with the firm, initially in Mumbai, India and subsequently in Chicago, IL. Sumit received an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2003 and a Bachelors of Commerce from Mumbai University in 1993. In addition, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant from India.
