Jason Stack Bio

Jason Stack is a Managing Director and a Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Stifel, with a focus on technology companies. Jason has over 23 years of experience providing strategic advice for public and private companies as they contemplate change of control situations. He has advised and executed on broad range of transactions, including strategic buy sides, take-privates, hostile transactions and defense, sponsor-back broad and targeted auction processes, recapitalizations and carve outs. Jason joined Stifel as a Managing Director in July 2010 in connection with Stifel's acquisition of Thomas Weisel Partners, where he was in the Tech M&A group for over a decade. Jason started his career in 1994 in the distressed M&A group of Houlihan Lokey. Jason holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
