Derek is a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group with extensive experience in capital raising and advisory work having covered a broad range of clients in the gaming, lodging, media and telecom sectors. Derek was previously a Vice President in the Media & Communications investment banking group at Morgan Stanley prior to joining Miller Buckfire in 2009. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Monitor Clipper Partners, where he completed a number of principal investing transactions. He began his career as an Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Derek holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Harvard College.
