Mr. Marks joined Stephens in July 2002. He focuses on transaction advisory work across many industries including auto retail, consumer finance, healthcare and medical technology, financial services, industrial and infrastructure. He has executed on a variety of transactions for boards and management teams including buy side and sell side advisory, strategic alternatives, hostile defense and valuation events. Recent assignments include advising Allen Samuels Auto Group on its sale to AutoNation, the Van Tuyl Group on its sale to Berkshire Hathaway, advising the Board of Directors of Aaron’s on its $700 million acquisition of Progressive Finance and advising Stephens Capital Partners on its $380 million sale of Viking Range Corporation to Middleby Corporation. During his career, he has executed over 40 transactions with a combined value greater than $14 billion. Mr. Marks earned a BS degree in business administration and accounting from Washington and Lee University.
