Mark Vance joined Statesman in 2018 as a Director. Mark is part of a new initiative by Statesman to focus on technology & software and leverage over 20 years in middle market investment banking. Mr. Vance’s 20-plus year career spans large private and public companies such as CHR Solutions, WilTel, Telscape International, DNS Communications, and Matrix Telecom as well as startups. He also has served public and private energy firms including the Cullen family’s oil & gas operations.. He has held multiple executive management positions including CFO, COO and SVP. He has strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, raising capital through private and public offerings, and is accomplished in organizational restructurings, financial and strategic planning, and operational improvements. He holds an undergraduate degree from LSU in finance and a MBA from the University of Houston. He holds the Investment Banking Representative (Series 79), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses from FINRA and the SEC.
