Bio

Max brings over 15 years of experience in investment banking and corporate advisory in Australia and Europe. Prior to joining Stanton Road Partners, Max worked at Morgan Stanley in Sydney, London and Frankfurt and at Luminis Partners in Sydney. Max’s recent advisory roles include: advising Fortitude Investment Partners and Galvanic on its growth investment partnership with Quadrant Private Equity in Birch & Waite and advising Quadrant Private Equity on its sale of Superior Foods to Metcash Limited, advising Pacific Equity Partners on the sale of Evolution Healthcare, advising Lynch Group on its IPO, the founders of an e-commerce platform on raising growth capital, Quadrant Private Equity on the sale of Qscan Radiology to Infratil and Morrison & Co, ERM Power on its unsolicited takeover offer from Shell, Adamantem Capital on the take-private of Legend, Beach Energy on the acquisition of Lattice Energy, Southern Cross Austereo on various strategic options and capital management, Ausenco on its unsolicited takeover proposal from RCF and Bain Capital on its acquisition of MYOB. Other selected transactions include: advising the NSW government on the privatization of Port Botany and Port Kembla, APA on the equity and debt funding of the acquisition of the QCLNG pipeline, Asciano on the debut bond issue into the 144A market, APA and AGL on the joint development and financing of the Diamantina gas-fired power station and Lufthansa on the sale of Thomas Cook and concurrent sale/purchase of holdings in airlines Condor and SunExpress. Max has a PhD in finance and an MBA from European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany
