Recently named ‘Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year’ at the 2016 Thames Valley Deal Awards, his fourth such award, Simon has led some of the region’s most significant transactions including most recently the disposal of Clearwater Group to Baird Capital and the sale of SCI-MX Nutrition to Samworth Brothers. As a Managing Director at Spectrum, Simon is passionate about achieving the full potential on business sales, buy-outs and acquisitions. He is hands-on throughout to ensure the best outcome for his clients. After leadership roles with Ernst & Young, PwC and Bank of Scotland he established a regional CF Boutique which was sold to Tenon (now RSM UK) in 2001. He went on to lead the regional CF Team of Grant Thornton in the South, before once again realising his entrepreneurial ambitions and establishing Spectrum Corporate Finance with co-founders Ian Milne and Clive Hatchard. Over the years he has completed many notable deals in the region including the disposals of HobbyCraft, Jayhards, Point Source and buy-outs of Virgin Wines, Leisure Pass Group and BIMM‎.
