Jonathan Tretler Bio

Jonathan is a Partner based in the US. He has over 25 years of investment banking and strategic advisory experience. His areas of expertise include corporate strategy, M&A and capital raising initiatives on behalf of corporate and private equity clients. His industry expertise covers all aspects of the consumer products and retail landscape, with a particular focus on the food & beverage sector. Over the course of his career, Jonathan has originated and led the execution of advisory and capital raising transactions with an aggregate value of over $200bn. Most recently, Jonathan was Managing Director and the Head of the North America Consumer & Retail Group at HSBC which he joined in 2017. Prior to HSBC, Jonathan was head of the Food & Beverage Investment Banking practice at RBC Capital Markets for four years. He has also held leadership roles at Deutsche Bank and UBS. Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee at Feeding Westchester, Westchester County's largest food bank. He is also a Member of the Ambassador's Council for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. Jonathan holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School.
