John Duffy Bio

John is a Partner based in the US. Prior to joining us, John founded Rocker &Camber LLC, advising founders, families and funds on their private investment strategies. His advisory relationships include the private venture and growth teams at JP Morgan Asset Management and Franklin Templeton. At J.P. Morgan, John founded Morgan Private Ventures (MPV). MPV is a global private investment business focused on funding mid-stage growth companies via direct and co-investment transactions with capital raised from institutionally qualified family office clients. Morgan Private Ventures, via its clients, invested over $3 billion of capital since its inception in2015. Prior to the founding of Morgan Private Ventures John served as Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Global Head of Institutional Wealth Management and CEO of the U.S. Private Bank. He was a member of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Operating Committee, CEO of the J. P. Morgan Trust Bank, U.S. CEO of Securities, Trust and Information Services division and US Head of Mortgage Backed Securities sales with the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank. He began his career with J.P. Morgan in 1982. John is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and New York University, Stern School of Business.
