Tammy Sheffer Bio

Tammy Sheffer is Chief Operating Officer. She joined Solomon Partners in 2020 as Chief People Officer. With over 20 years of experience, Tammy brings a proven track record of building high performing teams across different industries and multiple functions. Having worked in both financial services and a technology startup, she can scale a company while cultivating and supporting an entrepreneurial culture. Tammy has led a variety of disciplines both within HR as well as business lines as head of Corporate Communications and Chief of Staff to a CEO. Prior to Solomon Partners, Tammy was Chief People Officer at Rent The Runway. Previously, she was Chief of Staff, Head of Corporate Communications and held a number of leadership positions in HR at Oppenheimerfunds, Inc., where she worked for 18 years. Tammy holds an MA in Criminal Justice from John Jay College and a BA in English Literature and World History from Hebrew University. Prior to college, Tammy served as a Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces.
