Bio

Mark Boidman is a Managing Director and member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications advisory group. Mark has been recognized by digital media industry executives and professional publications as a leading investment banker in the media sector. He advises companies across the media and technology sectors, including digital media, marketing services, mobile and out-of-home media. His clients have included Branded Cities, Clear Channel Outdoor, Cox Enterprises, DirecTV, Discovery Communications, Disney, Fairway Media, Liberty Media, Lionsgate Entertainment, Mediacom Communications (special committee), OUTFRONT Media (formerly CBS Outdoor), RevZilla, RMG Networks, Scripps Networks, Titan Outdoor, TiVo, Van Wagner and General Atlantic. Mark sits on the Board of Directors of the Digital Signage Federation, the trade association supporting the business interests of the interactive technologies, digital signage and digital out-of-home network industries. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Gimbal, a location and proximity-based mobile engagement company. In 2015 Mark was recognized as a “40 Under Forty” honoree by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the Consultants' Training Institute (CTI). With an eye towards the advancement of professional education in media and technology, Mark writes on relevant trends. He also speaks regularly at industry events, including the Consumer Electronics Show, the Digital Signage Expo, the OAAA / TAB National Convention, the NY Media Summit and the DailyDOOH Investor Conference. Mark is an advocate for privacy-friendly, real-time data and analytics in the out-of-home media and digital out-of-home industries. Before joining PJSC, Mark was the head of Barclays' (originally Lehman Brothers) out-of-home media, TV broadcasting and radio coverage in its Global Technology Media and Telecom Group. At Lehman Brothers, Mark was in the Media M&A Group and a member of its Global Advisory Committee. Prior to Lehman, Mark spent four years as an attorney in the M&A Group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
