Jeff Pollard has over fourteen years of experience in the power and renewables sector, which includes strategic and financial advisory work totaling well in excess of $100 billion. Representative transactions include advising American Electric Power on the sale of its 5.2GW portfolio of coal and gas facilities to a Blackstone and ArcLight joint venture for $2.2 billion, advising First Reserve Infrastructure on the sale of its North American Power portfolio to an investor consortium (financial terms not disclosed), advising MACHGen on its sale to Talen Energy for $1.2 billion, advising GE EFS on its acquisition of 49% interest in Enel Green Power NA Renewable Energy Partners (financial terms not disclosed), advising Energy Capital Partners on the sale of its EquiPower portfolio to Dynegy, Inc. for $3.5 billion, and advising Constellation Energy Group on its merger with Exelon Corp., which created the largest competitive energy provider in the U.S. Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Jeff Pollard was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he spent over a decade and led the unregulated power generation business. Jeff received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
