Eric Bormel is a Director in Healthcare focused on the Consumer Healthtech sector. He joined the firm in 2013. Eric has more than 10 years of experience representing both public and private companies on a variety of assignments including buy-side, sell-side, merger, deSPAC and licensing transactions as well as debt and equity financings. Most recently, Eric advised lululemon on its strategic alternatives for lululemon studio (f.k.a. Mirror), medical products manufacturer Tidi on its sale to TJC, Wahoo Fitness on its majority recapitalization and growth investment, Vestar Capital on its strategic investment into sleep health platform Nox Health, sleep apnea wearable manufacturer ProSomnus on its merger with a SPAC, pharmacy benefit manager Prime Therapeutics on its acquisition of Magellan Rx from Centene Corporation, virtual care enablement platform Truepill on its Series D investment, healthcare analytics platform Panalgo on its sale to Welsh Carson and Hg-backed Norstella and Under Armour on its sale of its digital health platform MyFitnessPal to Francisco Partners.
