Daniel brings a wealth of buy-side M&A experience within the software industry, having developed the strategy and managed the deals for more than 30 strategic acquisitions and integrations during his decade-long tenure for one of the most acquisitive SaaS buyers, RealPage. These acquisitions added to RealPageās ecosystem of products, including solutions for marketing, screening, insurance, payments, operations, ERP, maintenance, accounting, revenue management, and BPO. During this time, he realized many founders had never been through the sale process before and needed an advocate to guide them, especially during unbanked deals. He experienced several situations where issues such as inaccurate financial reporting or incorrect tax calculations nearly derailed a deal. Now that he leads M&A deals representing sellers, his experiences have helped him to better relate to founders and anticipate many of the concerns they have while also preparing them for likely scenarios.
