Paul has over 35 years’ experience providing independent advice to public and private companies and governments defining and pursuing their strategic and financial objectives. His practice spans a broad range of sectors from Financial Services to Industrial to Support Services in many geographies, including the UK, Europe, North America, India and the Far East. He led Hawkpoint Partners for 10 years, first as Chief Executive and then as Executive Chairman. Prior to that he spent 16 years at Charterhouse Bank, where latterly he was CEO of its Corporate Finance Business. In addition to his management responsibilities at Charterhouse and Hawkpoint, Paul maintained a thriving advisory practice throughout. Paul has sat on a number of company boards including six years with the listed Collins Stewart plc until its takeover and currently he is on the board of John Menzies plc. He is also a senior adviser to Vermillion, a leading independent Chinese advisory business. Originally his career began as a solicitor with Freshfields.
